The fitness watch counted it as 82 steps and "light activity". **How it came about:** Gimli and Legolas keep a running kill-count from Helm's Deep, and at the Pelennor Fields in The Return of the King (2003) Legolas takes down a whole oliphaunt - and Gimli says "That still only counts as one!" Fans took it for every effort that's scored like the easy version. **Why it caught on:** it deflates the trilogy's biggest stunt in one line, and everyone knows a scoring system that ignores the hard part.
